A Saree--sari or shari--is a strip of unstitched cloth. It extends from four to nine metres in length. It is draped over the body in different styles. The color of the petticoat must also match the color of the saree which is essential as it affects the whole presentation of the saree. If the whole saree and blouse is mirrored and embroidered, it would be best to wear it in various occasions especially, on the wedding day.
