There is a saying that many hands make light work. The essence of this statement is that more can be achieved as a public than individually. There are numerous benefits of teamwork. Here are my top 6.

1. Creativity

We all have different skills, knowledge and personal attributes. By utilising all of these different aspects in a team, more ideas can be generated. As more ideas are generated, more creative solutions are generated, important to better results.

2. Satisfaction

Lack of job delight is often one of the key things highlighted in surveys of employees. Individuals working together as a team to achieve a base goal are continually developing. As they interact more power and enthusiasm is created. When this power is utilised, it produces results which for real impacts on motivation and leads to even more success.

3. Skills

Even the best powerful private cannot have all of the skills to do everything. Some citizen excel at coming up with the ideas. Others love the information while there are those that focus on the big picture. There are others who can be counted on when it comes to implementing and effect through of a plan.

The key point is that when a team works together, it has a huge range of skills available that it can utilise to deliver astonishing results.

4. Speed

Imagine that you have a project that needs research, pulling together a proposition, financing it, implementing it and delivering specific benefits. If one person was allocated this task, it could take months and maybe years to make it happen. By splitting up the project, work can move forward in parallel and the extreme goal achieved faster.

5. Sounding board

We all have a range of options open to us. If we are trying to figure out what is best, we might never move forward. In a team situation, other team members can act as a sounding board, allowing us to cut through the options and get on with those most likely to achieve the desired goal.

It is astonishing the estimate of camaraderie that is created in teams, especially when the going gets tough. citizen will often go to what seems like extreme lengths when they know that they can rely on the keep and encouragement of the team. Never underestimate the significance of this in achieving results.

In increasing to the many benefits of standard push ups (elevated heart rate, total body conditioning, etc.), there are many variations on the simple rehearsal that will allow you to specifically target different muscle regions. None of the push up variations require extra equipment, with the irregularity of the elevated push up, which requires a chair or some other means of elevating your feet.

The standard Push up:

Proper position is with your body in a straight, horizontal position, with you hands shoulder-width apart. One proper repetition involves lowering your body to the point that your chest touches the ground, and then lifting yourself back to starting position.

Wide-stance Push up:

This type of push up is designed to place more emphasis on your chest than the standard push ups. This is very similar to a butterfly machine. By placing your hands in a wide position, i.e. Wider than shoulder width, you will be forcing your chest to do more of the work. This push up also lightens the load on your triceps, so it is a good substitution towards the end of your workout, if your triceps are too exhausted to continue, and you feel like trudging on.

Diamond Push up:

Place your body in a straight, horizontal position. Slide your feet apart to practically shoulder-width. Place your hands together, directly under your sternum, with the tips of your index fingers and thumbs touching. Your fingers and thumb should form sort of a diamond or triangle shape. This type of push ups puts a heavy emphasis on the triceps, and lightens the load on the pectoral muscles.

Elevated Push up:

The elevated push up is exactly the same as a standard push up, but it involves elevating your feet by placing them on a chair, or surface. By lifting your feet, you will be accomplishing two things: increasing the whole of weight being lifted, and shift emphasis to the upper pectorals. This is very similar to an inclined bench press.

The elevated push up can also involve elevating your chest and upper body while leaving your feet on the ground. This is significantly easier. By doing this, the load is shifted to the lower chest, similar to a declined bench press. Wide-stance and diamond push ups can also be done in an elevated position for chest and triceps isolation training.
